About Us

Wavell Cody Badminton Club has been running as a non-league badminton club for over 20 years and we want to continue the friendly atmosphere and maintain a reasonable standard of play.

With a regular membership of around 30, we have a good mix of male and female, league and non-league players of all ages. Players of a reasonable standard (knowledge of scoring, tactics and a good range of shots) welcome, age 16 and over.

We hold an annual handicapped internal tournament. As well as playing badminton we arrange social events throughout the year. Recent events have included a Quiz night,  activity weekend and Christmas celebrations (to name but a few) plus the odd party from time to time!
